07. BASQUE PEOPLE AMALUR FULL
Amalur (Basque for “Mother Earth”), was the goddess of the earth in the religion of the ancient Basque people. She was the mother of Ekhi, the sun, and Ilazki, the moon. The Basque people believed Amalur to not only be the goddess of the earth, but the earth itself. She holds the life force that powers the world. Her power allows life to exist.
Run, walk or roll the Amular marathon to plant 15 trees.
