In the religion and mythology of the ancient Hawaiians, Papahānaumoku — often simply called Papa — is the Earth Mother, and she is still worshipped by some Hawaiians, especially by women, as a primordial force of creation who has the power to give life and to heal. Her spirit is that of the life-giving, loving, forgiving Earth who nurtures human life, and who is being abused by the misdeeds of mankind, especially in regard to the abuse of nature.

Completing our Papa 10k will give back to the earth by planting 8 trees.

Entries will need to be submitted by 9th January 2024 to be counted within the race. Your seeded medal, if you’ve ordered one, will be sent within 5 working days of the closing date by 2nd class post.
