Fight the darkness! We’re doing what we can to stand up to the bullies and the despots, by finding the light and planting 30 trees.

Light Up exists for one reason: 
When the world feels heavy, doing something is better than nothing.
We’re challenging you to go outside.
 Run, walk or cycle to an old tree, take a photo and upload it. Trees have outlived some of the worst human behaviours — and they’re still here. We’re going to plant more of them.
30 of them!

Distance doesn’t matter. Pace doesn’t matter. What matters is choosing to add something good back into the world.

The challenge closes at the end of February 2026. You can add a seeded medal to commemorate your challenge, select ‘Add medal’ below (+£4 inc. postage).

Your seeded medal, if you’ve ordered one, will be sent within 7 working days of your event deadline by 2nd class post.
